It doesn't just aggravate asthma, which would be bad enough. The International Agency for Research on cancer considers it a human carcinogen, it's classed as a carcinogen under California's Prop 65. All of these supposedly "harmless" chemicals are suspect in my eyes, even though the government may say otherwise. After all it's about making money for these companies that make shampoo and other products, why should they care if people get sick from it? If you look at the growing number of cancer cases in people where the cause is unknown you have to ask yourself what is different about our world and how does it relate to when there weren't so many of these dangerous chemicals added to everything (even if we are told they are harmless). Johnson and Johnson had to stop putting formaldehyde in their baby shampoo when they were told it is a carcinogen. Imagine washing your babies hair with that chemical?
